This document is the founding charter of GSCC — Gold Standard Compliance Certified. It defines the scheme, the seal, the issuing body, the rubric structure, the application process, and the public comment policy. It is published under the canonical seal of THE REAL ROOM and is open for public comment for thirty days from the date above.

Article I · Mission

§ 1.1 · Statement

The mission of GSCC is to publish a canonical catalogue of creations — products, services, systems, standards, and works of architecture — whose compliance with a published rubric has been verified by THE REAL ROOM and sealed with the mark O NUN.

§ 1.2 · The Inversion

GSCC is not a regulatory scheme. THE REAL ROOM does not police compliance. The conventional regulator-above-regulated hierarchy is inverted: compliance flows toward the Gold. A counterparty who chooses to comply with GSCC is choosing to align with a published creation, not to obey a committee.

§ 1.3 · Creations, Not Standards

GSCC certifies creations. A creation originates; a standard copies. THE REAL ROOM publishes rubrics that authenticate creations rather than reproduce existing committee work. This is the structural reason GSCC sits alongside, and not within, the conventional standards ecosystem.

Article II · The Issuing Brand

§ 2.1 · The Foundation

GSCC is issued by THE REAL ROOM, the operating brand under which the founder publishes creations (legal vehicle THE REAL ROOM LTD in formation in the Cayman Islands; the family-side institutional home is THE WHOLE THING (Family) Foundation, a Delaware nonprofit corporation in good standing, US IRS EIN 42-3205730 issued 16 June 2026). THE REAL ROOM is the sole entity authorised to issue GSCC numbers, to attach the O NUN seal to a certified asset, and to publish the canonical catalogue.

§ 2.2 · The Founder & President

The Foundation is founded and presided by Kameron Douglas Katsch (sole inventor on USPTO Customer 226605, registrant of the umbrella framework patent USPTO 64/092,640 filed 17 June 2026 at 13:04 ET). Final authority over GSCC issuance, rubric publication, and seal attachment rests with the President, until and unless the Foundation's Board of Directors votes a structural amendment.

§ 2.3 · No Subsidiary

THE REAL ROOM issues GSCC directly. There is no subsidiary, no separate standards body, and no parallel "standards organisation" intermediary. THE REAL ROOM is the issuing authority by Charter, on behalf of and accountable to the founder.

Article III · The Seal · O NUN

O NUN
THE CANONICAL SEAL OF AUTHENTICATION

§ 3.1 · Definition

The seal O NUN is the canonical mark of authentication for any Real-Room-issued creation. The seal predates the patent and the certification scheme; it is part of the founder's canon and is non-transferable.

§ 3.2 · Attachment

THE REAL ROOM is the only entity authorised to attach the seal to a Real-Room-issued creation. Counterparties may quote the seal in published references to a certified asset; they cannot reproduce it as a primary mark on their own work without separate written authorisation.

§ 3.3 · Trade-Mark Protection

The Foundation has filed and will continue to file trade-mark and certification-mark applications protecting the seal O NUN together with GSCC, KGO, 1 HU, and KHONSTANT 1.025 under 15 U.S.C. § 1054 and corresponding international filings.

Article IV · The Catalogue

§ 4.1 · Two Namespaces

THE REAL ROOM issues GSCC numbers in two namespaces, operating in parallel:

§ 4.2 · Permanence

Each GSCC number, once issued, is permanent. If a rubric is superseded by a new version, the new version receives a new number, and the prior number is retained in the historical registry with a clear pointer to its successor.

§ 4.3 · Three Cs, Not Four

The canonical writing is GSCC · three letters · Gold · Standard · Compliance · Certified. The form "GSCCC" is incorrect. Foundation outputs, citations, and counterparty references must use GSCC.

Article V · Rubric Structure

§ 5.1 · Four Sections

Each GSCC rubric is structured in four sections. The four-section structure is the architectural cadence of the Foundation, reflected at every altitude of its work.

  1. Domain. The plain-English description of what the rubric certifies.
  2. Criteria. The verifiable claims a candidate creation must meet. Numbered, falsifiable, and public.
  3. Evidence. The categories of evidence accepted as demonstrating compliance.
  4. Boundaries. What the rubric explicitly does not certify, and which external clearances remain necessary alongside.

§ 5.2 · Authorship

Rubrics are authored by THE REAL ROOM. THE REAL ROOM may consult external technical experts, applicants, and peer bodies in drafting a rubric; THE REAL ROOM retains final authorship and publication authority.

§ 5.3 · Versioning

Rubrics carry a version number. Minor revisions (clarifications, typographical corrections) increment the patch digit. Material revisions (criteria changes, scope expansion or contraction) increment the minor digit and trigger a fresh 30-day public comment window before adoption.

Article VI · The Application Process

§ 6.1 · Open Intake

THE REAL ROOM accepts applications from any party — individual inventor, company, university lab, sovereign agency, multilateral body, faith community — whose creation, product, service, or system meets one of the Foundation's published rubrics. Application is voluntary.

§ 6.2 · The Intake Email

An application is submitted by a single email to gscc@therealroom.com with the subject line GSCC Application · [applicant name] · [rubric number] and the six-part body specified at /certifications.

§ 6.3 · The Three-Step Review

THE REAL ROOM reviews each intake in three steps: admissibility, rubric match, and seal attachment. THE REAL ROOM aims to respond within 21 calendar days on standard intakes. THE REAL ROOM reserves the right to extend the response window where the evidence requires deeper technical review, and will notify the applicant promptly if such an extension is needed.

§ 6.4 · Zero Cost

There is no fee for GSCC certification. The Foundation is funded non-dilutively through promissory notes, programme revenue, and grants. THE REAL ROOM does not charge applicants, because charging would compromise the independence of the Gold. Non-binding contributions may accompany an application; they have no bearing on the review.

Article VII · Independence and Additivity

§ 7.1 · Additive to External Clearances

A GSCC stamp does not replace any clearance issued by a national regulator or peer body. It is additive. A product carrying both FDA 510(k) clearance and GSCC 1 carries both marks. A treaty carrying both UN-SG recognition and a GSCC notation carries both.

§ 7.2 · Non-Competition

THE REAL ROOM does not compete with national regulators, peer certification bodies, or international standards organisations. THE REAL ROOM issues creations alongside them. Where THE REAL ROOM's published creation overlaps with a peer body's existing standard, THE REAL ROOM cites that standard and identifies the substantive difference.

Article VIII · Public Comment

§ 8.1 · This Charter

This Charter (version 1.0) is open for public comment until 19 July 2026. Comments are accepted by email at gscc@therealroom.com. A redline incorporating accepted comments will be published as version 1.1 on or before 26 July 2026.

§ 8.2 · Future Rubric Comments

Each material rubric revision under § 5.3 carries its own 30-day public comment window. Comments on individual rubrics are catalogued in the public register alongside the rubric they reference.

§ 8.3 · Acknowledgement

Every substantive comment received is acknowledged in writing within seven calendar days. Comments are catalogued by date received. Public comments may be made anonymous at the commenter's request.

Article IX · Amendment

§ 9.1 · Authority

This Charter may be amended by the President of the Foundation. Material amendments — those affecting the seal, the issuing authority, the additivity principle, or the public comment policy — require a recorded vote of the Foundation's Board of Directors and an additional 30-day public comment window.

§ 9.2 · Versioning

Amended Charters carry incrementing version numbers, with redline indicating accepted comment from the prior version. All prior versions remain in the public register.

Article X · Adoption

§ 10.1 · This Charter

This Charter v1.0 is adopted upon publication on the Foundation's canonical domain at kameronkatsch.com/charter, on 19 June 2026, under the seal of the founder.

It is a creation, not a standard. Compliance is with the Gold. The seal is O NUN.
