Most of what the world calls a "standard" is a record of what existed before, written by a committee, blessed by an institution. That is fine for the world. It is not what was published this week. What was published this week is a creation.
A standard copies. It looks at what is already being done, gathers the people doing it, agrees on a version, prints a number, and asks everyone else to comply with the version. The work is real but the substance is borrowed.
A creation originates. There is no prior version. There is no committee. There is a person, a problem, a formula, and the published result. The substance is the source.
The certification series is called Gold Standard Compliance Certified. The word "standard" is inside the name because the name was chosen before the doctrine was finished, and because the word "Gold" is the load-bearing one. Gold is the canon. Gold is the colour of the tier. Gold is the surname on the work — by reading.
If a future reader is confused by the word "standard" inside the name of a creation, the name still does its job: it tells them where to send their compliance. The compliance flows toward the Gold.
